Through the following steps, you will learn how to configure IPTV on a MAG Box:
Step 1: The main portal screen shows up while the box is being loaded. Pick up the remote and press the “SETUP/SET” button.
Step 2: Click on “Servers” under “System settings.”
Step 3: Click on “Portals.”
Step 4: Type “IPTV” into the “Portal 1 name” field. Enter the portal address that your IPTV provider gave you in the “Portal 1 URL” field. Your IPTV provider will need to know the MAC address of your device, which can be found on the back of your box.
Step 5: Press “OK” when you’re done with all of the steps above. Once the changes have been saved, press “EXIT” on the remote and choose “General.”
For North America, type either “pool.ntp.org” or “us.pool.ntp.org” in the “NTP server” line.
Keep the changes by pressing “OK.”
When you’re done with all the steps, press “EXIT” twice on the remote to start the portal over. You’re now ready to watch the live TV.
